I am a licensed psychologist who provides individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults using primarily cognitive-behavioral and interpersonal therapeutic approaches. I have had experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, other mood disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and problematic behaviors. In my work, I begin with gathering information about the individual’s history, inquire about the individual’s goals, and work together with individuals in helping them accomplish their goals. I encourage individuals to be an active participant in therapy and to openly communicate with me throughout the therapy process.
As for my educational background and training, I earned a Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) with Academic Distinction and with a Child/Adolescent Concentration from The School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute in Springfield, Missouri, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. I completed my postdoctoral fellowship at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
